Diplomatic meetings are easy. Changing behavior at sea is the real test. As long as Philippine vessels are still being blocked, harassed, or pressured, calling this a reset feels premature.

Exactly. And this is why Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and India should not treat this as only a Philippines problem. If pressure in the South China Sea works against one country, others could be next. The region needs a more united position, otherwise each country will be forced to deal with the same pressure alone.

Every few weeks, there’s another attack, another convoy, another bombing, another funeral. At some point, this stops looking like isolated terrorism and starts looking like systemic collapse.
