Give Citizens More Control Over Public Spending
India should continue to follow the principle of one citizen, one vote. However, modern technology allows citizens to participate more directly in important decisions than was possible 50 or 100 years ago. Taxpayers and non-taxpayers alike should have greater visibility and influence over how public money is spent. Instead of giving some citizens more voting power, we should give all citizens more control and oversight.
