What stood out to me is how often political movements become dependent on a single person. Remove this minister. Defeat that leader. Arrest this politician. Ban that policy. These objectives are easy to communicate, but they often hide the deeper problem. If the entire movement collapses after the individual disappears, then the individual was never the real issue. The issue was that the movement lacked a larger purpose.
