People talk about the bomb blast, but the real story is the slow collapse underneath — weak economy, political chaos, radicalization, and complete loss of trust in institutions.
The article makes a valid point. If leadership changes every time there is a crisis, long-term reforms will never get completed properly.
The real story isn't people returning. The real story is whether India can keep them. If returnees come back, get stuck in bureaucracy, bad infrastructure, and poor work culture, many will leave again. India has a big opportunity here, but it needs to create the right environment.
It's still not too late; the core base of Congress and BJP is still in 15/25 % region. Remember, in India, most still don't have any allegiance to a party. The undecided mostly influence the election results.
Wtf we still have paper-based exams? Every gali nukad in a small village uses online payments, and we cant have a decentralized online exam system in place?
lol!!! Not feasible what happens if somebody loses a job just before the election. Not tax, no vote Also, how will you decide who is tax paying voter - you have to pay tax every year, once in a lifetime, every election cycle But, yes agree with the other comment. Citizens should have more control on budget and how it is spent. 50-100 years back, it made sense to elect MPs and let them decide on your behalf. But now, we have technology to vote more often/more regularly. So, we should have online voting for all critical decisions
Good discussion, guys. Added a new petition on this topic [give-citizens-more-control-over-public-spending](https://fukroach.org/petitions/15/give-citizens-more-control-over-public-spending)
